My heroes are those who serve and protect our country. I'm an active member of Soldier's Angels. I have been since I was 18. My most honorable hero is SFC. David Todd. He saved 12 soldiers from his unit. He died instantly from his wounds. I will greatly miss him. He had changed my life without me even knowing it. Just having the honor to know him makes me proud, proud to call him my "FRIEND." He was the first person that I realized that I deeply cared for. At that time, I was very hard for me to trust anyone, to give my "heart" to them. With Dave, it was amazing. He helped me open my heart to all kinds of possibilites. The thing is I never had met him, we just called, text, wrote, and e-mailed each other for about 3 before we lost contact. But he never once left my thoughts or my heart. He shall forever and ever remain in my heart. I love you Dave, and I will deeply miss you!

My dad! He was the only man in my life I deeply cared for and probably always will. He was the most amazing guy. I have so much respect for him. I have his love for life always smiling and making people laugh. But how can someone smile when they hurt so much inside? For me, that's easy to answer, its very easy for me to hide my emotions. Now that my dad is gone, that's what exactly I'm probably going to do. Its going to KILL ME! So Dad, you little girl loves you for eternity. I just hope we will be reunited someday. I wasn't ready for you to go, and I'm still not ready. I'm denying that you are gone, but I know you are, its just easier for me to cope with it. I have so much anger, I'm so mad at you for leaving me, for leaving us. But I still love you!

This is for SFC David Todd, Jr. I still miss him, and I still cannot believe that he is gone. He shall forever ramain in my heart. I will be forever grateful to him how he helped me changed has a person. I just wish he knew how grateful I am to him for that. I cannot express how I feel. This sheer and utter emotion is hard for me to express in words. Only my heart can understand this solitude of loneliness that I feel, but at the sametime this over enjoyment because he died what he loved doing, he died because he gave the ulitame sacrifice. I love you Dave, my Sassy, my Gorilla Butt!
