Lyrically, Jasara Renee explores introspective themes of love, despair, heartbreak and happiness. However, her message is still a positive one. Jasara Renee says, "I want to let people know that they are not alone in this world in dealing with pain, sadness or anything else that they go through in this journey called life.”
Influenced by a wide-range of artists such as Brenda Lee, Leslie Gore, the Bee Gees of the 60’s, Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper, Hanson and Martina McBride, Jasara Renee started writing original material at the age of 10. She considers her eclectic love of music as the main source for the inspiration of her many creative song styles.
A native of California, Jasara Renee was born into a musical family. Her father is a talented musician also. At the age of 3 she was performing on stage where her big voice and bigger than life personality quickly made her the center of attention. "Ever since I could talk and walk, I've been singing and dancing. I always wanted to be a performer,” she recalls.
