He is the newest representative of the Tampa movement based in central Florida. Black, discovered by Lil Kee (KeeZone Productions) had been working and developing his sound. With writing and production experience to his credit, he willingly teamed up with Kee. .. .. By the end of February, Universal Republic approached Keezone and offered a deal to take Black nationally. Universal Republic which has artist like India Arie, 3 Doors Down, Lil Jon, Damian Marlyand ToriAmos is the new home for Black. When asked about the Keezone/Universal Republic marriage, "Its a perfect home for my music. To be among such talented artist who have reached the success I hope to obtain is a blessing" says .. .. International recording artist Sean Kingston really took to "Shawty Tear it up" back around superbowl when heard the record while he was in town. When he came back for a local concert in March, he invited Javon to perform it during his set. After the concert, Kingston proceeded to go into the studio the same night, working on an updated version of the record. "April is the kick-off month", says Lil Kee of Keezone.
