I'm curious tho. how did you get ahold of my poem? I remember writing it and giving it away because I wanted to forget the feelings I put into it. how it got from Kingston WA to New Orleans or wherever you found it must be quite a story tho. I forget most of it. I may not have even recognized it. but the part where you said the Handling of a heart is a very delicate art because its paper thin. one irrelevant thought that started out as a spark could be a poisonous dart and it burns in the dark and the day it makes you never want to see her face again. this line was very personal to me. that and the part about the could-sac and wheres the map to show you were your at. first time I heard your version I had a flash back of writing it. you can hear in your voice when you speak this verse the Handling of a heart is a very delicate art because its paper thin. one irrelevant thought that started out as a spark could be a poisonous dart and it burns in the dark and the day it makes you never want to see her face again. you feel guilty about saying it and I don't think you relate. maybe you were afraid your woman would think you did write it about her. don't. you have my thanks. Her name is Angela and Rebekah and Tiersa. my experiences with these 3 women gave me a wound in my heart that is still not healed years later. I found my soul mate and I still have problems trusting her because of the memories. anyway gratitude and many personal thanks.
