JD73 ZEROS AND ONES GETS GREAT REVIEWS:
-YAHOO MUSIC SAYS: JD73 has the ‘70s soul funk sound down cold. Zeros and Ones recalls everything from Quincy Jones' theme to Sanford and Son to funky Blaxploitation soundtracks like Hell Up In Harlem, Thunderfist, Shaft and Superfly. The organic beats and flowing bass riffs jump my bones like a night at long gone infamous Manhattan club, Sweetwaters. The rest of Zeros and Ones is equally happenin', from the urban flow of "E.T. Funk" and the humming sensuality of "Dark Dub" (flute boogie!) to the dance floor penetration of "Journey to the Other Side."
-OKAYPLAYER.COM SAYS:
This is good music. Different, but good music. Herbie Hancock, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, and Sun Ra would all be proud. Funk infused, electro-jazz is alive. Zeros and Ones, proves that.Oh, and one more thing, JD73 is one person, to my surprise. And the “JD,” appropriately stands for “Jazz Doctor.”

the new tracks are just ridiculous. Still loving that Orpheus? might flip the Rosetta 200 FW and go with the new Metric Halo stuff we'll see. I definitely need to stop being lazy and use the Rhodes / Wurli / Cp30 / Clav. (debating on the Electro 3 though, esp to start playing live)
Ultra funky stuff bro, we're digging it! For real, there needs to be more music like this out there. Would love to guest a talkbox spot on these tunes. You should come bring the act stateside. Much Love and Respect, Excellent Gentlemen
