Jazzimodo surge el año 2005, con la idea de hacer una música actual de un modo jazzy, basando su sonido en la experiencia de buscar combinaciones entre los beats y la atmósfera de la electrónica, la simpleza del pop y el código jazzístico.
Sus letras, en español, inglés y francés, transmiten mensajes simples ligados a sensaciones y pensamientos cotidianos, demostrando así, el carácter global que tiene esta música, que no se limita por fronteras, pero si tiene identidad propia y por sobretodo el concepto de innovar. A su vez y bajo el mismo concepto de universalidad, Jazzimodo es capaz de llegar a la gente sin juzgar lugares, ni edades, ni estilos, mediante su música y sus intensos shows cargados de luces, colores, baile y virtuosismo.
Los integrantes de Jazzimodo, todos músicos provenientes de la escuela del jazz, y con amplia experiencia en el medio complementan sus habilidades, su talento y su arte, para dar vida a la fusión que caracteriza este particular proyecto.
Lautaro Quevedo, tecladista y compositor, quien además esta a cargo de toda la maquinaria, (muchos cables, switches y números) sabe tener el genio para dejar de lado este laboratorio y volcarse a tocar armonías, texturas y ruidos en los teclados o solos sobre el piano rhodes o organo hammond ; asi le sigue la cantante y compositora, Paz Court, propia de una calidez expresiva, otorga un carácter lúdico sutilmente inserto en sus movimientos, frases y melodías. Su voz penetra en este circuito físico-digital y crea una integración única de sus componentes.
Siempre conservando la impecable ejecución y el buen nivel de sus sideman y músicos invitados, Jazzimodo cuenta con el preciado aporte de connotados bajistas como Nelson Arriagada, Andres Landon y Roberto Trujillo y bateristas como Hans Avila, Julio Denis y Andy Baeza. Asimismo, cuentan con la colaboración de músicos invitados de la altura Agustin Moya, saxo; Sebastian Jordan, trompeta; Ernesto"Chino" Kong, guitarra y Enzo Massardo, vocalista de Uruz, entre otros.
Jazzimodo es como una enorme fuente dinámica desplegando energía y no se detiene. Jazzimodo es el comienzo de algo nuevo.
Jazzimodo began in 2005, with the idea of making contemporary music with a “jazzy” edge, seeking a
sound based on the combination of electronic beats and atmosphere, the simplicity of Pop and the style of Jazz.
Jazzimodo’s lyrics, in Spanish, English and French, convey simple messages, dealing with everyday life, sensations and thoughts, thereby demonstrating the global character of this music, a music which is not limited by borders, but still keeps its own identity and, most importantly, an innovative spirit.
At the same time, and with that same universal character, Jazzimodo is able to reach people of all nationalities, ages, and musical tastes, with their music and intense shows, when the stage is overtaken with colorful lights, dance and virtuosic playing.
The members of Jazzimodo come from the jazz scene, all carrying vast experience in this genre; their skills, talent and creativity combine to create the unique fusion that is Jazzimodo.
Lautaro Quevedo, composer and keyboardist, who is also in charge of his machine set (hundreds of wires, switches and numbers), is always willing to leave this laboratory aside and devote himself to playing mellow harmonies, textures and noises on the keyboard or jazzy solos on the Rhodes or Hammond. Then it follows the final element, a fundamental part of Jazzimodo: Paz Court (singer and composer) who conveys such expressive warmth in her singing and delivers her melodies, phrases and movements with a smooth ludic character, her voice slips into this digital-physical circuit and creates a perfect blend of the different components.
