Sounds Like
A Hoosier music baby who's been bitten by the pop/rock/classical/jazz/bluegrass bug bigtime.
JCC has been working with great musicians for years now: Brubecks, Gerry Mulligan, Paul Desmond, Michael and Randy Brecker, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, Richie Morales, Rupert Holmes, The Roches, John Tesh, James Ingram, Garland Jeffreys, The Laughing Dogs, The Duophonic Band and many others. But since he started scriptwriting Pokemon in 2002, he's been rubbing elbows with cartoon voice crazy Jimmy Zoppi and more recently, Billy Beach. Along with drummer and old friend Sir Joseph Bakeoff, the music they've been working on has been released! Entitled 'I Was Missing You', on Wild Twin Records, it's a collection of original songs and a couple of favorites from the past. Available on digstation.com (www.digstation.com/jamescartercathcart) for immediate MP3 download with hard copies available on Amazon.com, CDs will be also available from other websites such as CD Baby.

James - Diggin' the tunes... if I'd have known you were in Warwick last night I'd have been there. I actually don't post nearly as much to Spectropop as I used to, but you can't beat it as a source of rare 60's pop. Thanks for the add - ttys - Joe
Jimmy, life is very nearly a circle. Ain't it? You sounding great, as always. Good to be back in contact witcha! Oh yeah! I almost forgot! Go into transit! Check your ego! I saw RJ's picture down the page. We're all so old. We all so don't look it! I love you, man!
Oh man, James...your songs are awesome! So much pop energy. My favorite is "Back Roads". I love the melody and the line 'If we don't have back roads left to ride again.'
And then there's that 'Dr. Robert' vibe going on in "We Could Talk It Over". "Suzanne Suzette" sounds like McCartney with The Beach Boys singing backups!
Great to hear from you, and to hear some of your great new music! Rob and I learned so much from you, and our recordings together remain among my favorites. Hope you've had a chance to check out the Desperate Measures website (www.desperatemeasurescd.com) and our new CD on CD Baby, Speaking in Tongues (www.cdbaby.com/desperatem3). Looking forward ot your new CD, and hope to speak with you soon.
