Sooo many, but just to name a few: Rufus Wainwright, Elton John, Chantal Kreviazuk, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears (yes, even her), Sarah Slean, Billy Joel...
Originally from London, Ontario, Julia started taking group piano lessons at the tender age of 4 before switching to private lessons with Marion Miller, whom she credits for instilling a love of Debussy, Mozart and performing classical music. Also a great supporter of her popular music, Julia studied under Marion's guidance until university. Although no one in her family played music professionally, there was always a great love of music and therefore never a lack of a willing audience. With such warm reception, it was hard not to love performing.
Julia began writing pop songs with the gift of a synthesizer keyboard in the 6th grade and moved to writing songs on the piano a couple of years later. High school was a great time of musical growth as she honed her performance skills in many coffeehouses and talent shows and began collaborating with longtime songwriting partner Andrew Gunadie, with whom she entered the "My Life has a Soundtrack" competition by Sony Ericsson with their debut music video - "Envy." When it came to choosing what to take in university, music was the obvious first choice. She studied classical piano under Jamie Parker and Lydia Wong at the University of Toronto and completed her Bachelor of Music Education in the Spring of 2007. She is currently writing and recording songs in Toronto and plans to release a debut CD sometime in the near future!

http://realfaces.ning.com/ - spreading the word that beauty is from the inside! I was offered a modelling slot, but I'm unsure of whether to take it, so meanwhile, I'm spreading the word, by hoping to get members to my site, that beauty is from the inside, not the photoshopped barbies that the media sometimes likes to portray them as. :)
I so totally had to put you in my top friends, so that my MySpace fans check out your music. You have no idea how talented you are! I'm having a case of envy :P aha, see what i did there? :) Keep doing what you do !
