  • Bio

....“Jean Mann is a very special artist.” - Cyndi Lauper Top 12 finalist Lilith Fair NW Talent Search Noted alt-folk indie-pop singer songwriter, Seattle based Jean Mann has toured extensively since 2002. This innovative, self-taught performer shares her soulful life tales, woven through the voice of an angel. Her vocal prowess, combined with eclectic (detuned acoustic 6 string, tenor guitars and ukulele) playing, result in the homey, intimate feeling of sitting around a kitchen table with close friends - a wonderful concert experience for all. Jean has released three CD’s of original songs since beginning songwriting in 2000. She will complete her fourth CD, “dream of goats” in early 2011, and tour the US Spring/Summer in support of this release. Sept 09, Jean toured the perimeter of US -10,000 miles, performing 22 shows in 5 weeks. Jean has opened shows for national songwriter Peter Himmelman, and most recently, San Francisco based Blame Sally (December, 2010) With a quickly growing fan base, she is a stellar act, whether solo, or as her duo multi-instrumental act (with music partner Bill Corral). A refreshing voice in northwest music. “Jean, I love your voice and music!” Jacqui Naylor .. .. .. License this music for commercial use through ..Pump Audio.. .. .. .. .. .. .. You inspired me to start picking up Melodica. It's all your fault.
I broke it out last night for some big jams at the portside,
collaboration on some Van Morrison tunes.
