2009 Country Showcase Winner
Congratulations to Jeff Luckadoo and the Carolina Croo (Tom Eure, Garry Harper, Tim Estridge and Rusty loninger), for winning the Charlotte Music Awards Country Music Showcase, which was held at Puckett's Farm on July 23. His original song, "Can You Here Me Now" helped put him over the top and was a great crowd pleaser. The competition was tight, with only a few points seperating the other three bands, Paul Finnican, Sharelle Quick and Jesse Nickes. Also a big thank you to our celebrity judges, Ricky Traywick, Nita Emory and Bobby Ray. The event was a big success thanks to our talent coordinator Julia Dixon, our stage manager Nanci Lewis and club owner Gary Puckett. Look for Jeff Luckadoo and the Carolina Croo to perform at the CMA Red Carpet Event on Nov. 19 at the NC Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.
