Jeff's song "Eye for an Eye" was recently selected as a finalist in the Blues catagory from among 15,000 entrants! Jeff won Honorable Mention but was further honored when he was contacted by one of the judges...John Mayall, the renowned blues legend! John is also known as a great mentor to guitarists Eric Clapton, Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac, and Mick Taylor of the Rolling Stones, all of whom at one time played in John Mayall’s band. John contacted Jeff Pitchell and told him he intends to add Jeff’s award winning “Eye for an Eye” to his song list as he continues his world tour, and further recognize Jeff as the composer of the new song added at his gigs, and futher John intends to record Jeff’s song on his next Bluesbreaker album!! Jeff is deeply honored...
