After a stellar career with 98 Degrees, Jeff has single-handedly written and produced his first solo album, released as a joint venture between his own company, Rising Phoenix Media, LLC and SLG Music. The album gave him a Top 20 hit on both the Billboard and Radio and Records charts with the lead off single "Whisper That Way" and was the most added single at radio every week leading up to its peak position. The album also produced 3 more chart topping singles worldwide.
One early career highlight for Timmons included singing at the White House. "I've never been so nervous before a performance, when we were to sing acappella for President Clinton. It was the first time we were doing 'Ave Maria' in public and it was live on TV for a White House Holiday Special." No need for anxiety - the group was invited back. Other highlights include hosting, appearing and performing on such shows as MTV's "TRL," "Beach House," "House of Style," "Video Music Awards," "American Music Awards," "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve," "The Tonight Show," and "The Teen Choice Awards" (for which he is the owner of their coveted award surf board). Timmons' group also received a Radio Music Award to go with the many platinum records on his wall.
