We have two small walk-in closets in our bedroom in our little townhouse west of Orlando. One houses the clothes, the other houses my recording setup...a little L-shaped room just large enough to line the walls with my equipment, and a microphone in the small corner. Easy to control the sound in such a little space with a bit of blankets and foam. Not terribly social, but what comes through works for me.
I have a Masters in Speech/Language Pathology and work with kids with disabilities. 3 daughters with my devoted Deadhead, big-eyed Armenian husband.
Favor intelligent, intricate, emotional and experimental music...from minimal, to trance, to outlaw country. Into sound effects and sound science. My idea of a fun day consists of tuned wine glasses, detuned guitar, a couple of delay pedals, and some wood. Throw in a cheap Casio, a shortwave radio, and a couple of filter effects.
A huge thank you to my friends who have allowed me to contribute to their tracks and who have in turn included me on their releases including Adam Daly, Attosecond, Office Ekiti, Gregg Yeti and the Best Lights, and Adrian Taylor. Thanks for the awesome sounds, the production and the patience. I love all of you.
