The beat-electro-pop collision!
It all started over nine years ago: two Viennese "guitar musicians" got together to break down the barriers between pop and electronica: dj Y (Crooks) and Gottfried Schinagl (Lieblinge der Nation, Data Hero). As a duo they produced the debut "Audio Toys" (EP, 1998). Soon it was clear that they wanted to work with vocals as well: enter Anna Jung, voice & lyrics. For the live show JELLYBEAT were joined by Bunf (Curbs) who, with his energetic performance, is one of the highlights of each JELLYBEAT event. With the albums "Belle Fiction" (2000), "Jellyfication" (2001) and "You better believe us" (2004) JELLYBEAT attracted further attention. All three albums where created with a lot of passion and a love of detail concerning the sounds in the band..s own studio.
After releasing their fourth album ("From the Get Go", April 2006) and a short break from stage and studio, they are back with their new singer Katrin Navessi. (Anna Jung is still enjoying life as a mother in Germany). In july 2007 they released a four track-ep: "I..VE COUNTED THE STARS (AGAIN)" came together with two remixes from Dj Y..s and Gottfried..s new sideprojects MIDI BUDDHA and PLAY.MOBILE.
Now, in autumn 2008, we are proud to announce a new ep: "RE_BEAT v 2.0" will release on the 7th of november. Included are (in best tradition ;-) ) again two remixes of the bands sideprojects.

Freitag der 13te:Für die meisten wohl ein Datum,an dem alles in die Hose geht. Um euch zu beweisen das es auch anders geht,haben wir uns bewusst dieses Datum für die opening party der Wöchentlich stattfindenden (jeden freitag) Veranstaltungsreihe"Arrive"@ All-in ausgesucht.
Die Erste Party am 13.02 steigt gleich mit einen der ganz grossen der Elektronischen Musikszene.Cari Lekebusch (drumcode,Stockholm) wird nach langer Zeit wieder mal nach Wien kommen, und uns zeigen das er noch immer zu den besten gehört! Für den 27.02 konnten wir niemand geringeren als Oliver Klein(great stuff) der unter anderem auch schon mit Sven Väth,Karotte uvm. an einen Plattenteller gestanden ist für einen Clubgig der Sonderklasse gewinnen!
Da es sich um einen Club für max.200 personen handelt bitten wir euch früh zu kommen!!!
