i'm really excited about the release of my new ep 'we will not fade.' it was a year in the making with about a six month break in the middle and contemplation whether or not i was going to finish it, but so happy i did. my friend and bassist of the everyday visuals, chris zembower engineered the record and what a beautiful job he did. i worked with a lot of different string players on the recording and it was the first time i've arranged string parts. i really loved doing this. this was also the first time i've ever incorporated drums into my work (performed by joe seiders of the everyday visuals) and it has added a new texture to the songs. recording is one of my favorite things and i had such a good time working with all the musicians and friends who performed on 'we will not fade.'
besides purchasing a copy at one of my shows, the other place to currently get one is right below at cdbaby.com/cd/taranto2. i'll be sure to let you know when the songs are up on itunes, etc....
my friend brian welch did all of the photography, layout and artwork for the album and the folding and gluing of the cd jackets were done by me!
