Food. I love food. I love to eat it. I love to watch other people make food(anyone besides myself). I can play a tune or two on the violin. I have dreams that I'll learn to play the cello and piano and play drums in a rock band. I like taking my Gunther Dog for walks and I love rocking out to some good music and taking a long run to clear my head.

All my friends and family are my heroes-each person has something so unique about them that I admire and wish that I could be!
About me: I am a 30 year old Mexican female that cannot speak Spanish or swim. I've diagnosed myself with a learning disorder because I can't remember a lot of the stuff that I've learned, I have some form of dyslexia because I always read magazines from the back to the front and I am a self-proclaimed shop-aholic. I'm allergic to cats and I'm also allergic to being skinny. I'm married to Chris Manuel, RN, the love of my life who has been incredibly supportive husband and friend and who can always make me laugh AND he gives the most WONDERFUL big squishy hugs! I am new mommy as of November 23rd, 2008 to little Miss Ruby Grace Manuel - it was complete and unconditional love at first sight and she has made me want to spend every second of my life protecting her and making sure she is happy, healthy and safe. I know my purpose in life from now on is to make her smile:) I have the most adorably goofy and clumsy Dog, Sir Gunther Charles The Third Manuel who adds so much joy to my life. I'm the youngest of three siblings; my oldest sister being Regina, the ridiculously talented, artsy and creative vegan/environmentaly friendly, beautiful and strong and most recently a Certified Lactation Nurse, she never ceases to amaze me. Josette, the middle child, who is so freakin kick ass at what she does (being a mentor and role model to some very troubled young girls and giving them the tools they need to make the right choices in life). She could whoop your butt, make you a tasty dinner and knit you a cozy scarf without breaking a sweat. She also happens to be quite funny and stunning to boot! I'm so blessed to have them in my life, PLUS, they've given me some extraordinary nephews and niece - Ethan, Gavin, Isaak and Jasmine and two pretty cool bro in laws, Ryan and Aaron. My mama and papa are hardworking and wonderful people who have always been there for me and I always know they are only a phone call away. Jenni and Sam have proven to me that you can have lifetime friends; people who continue to "get" who you are and always support you through bad decisions, boyfriends and will be the first to cry for you or with you. You two are at the heart of who I am! Overall, my life is filled with all of the things that should truly matter and I'm so grateful for it all.
Who I'd like to meet: Now, I've thought about this a lot and the one person I'd like to meet is.....myself when I was younger so I could knock some sense in to me. I was a pain in the rear and I focused way too much on things that were not important. Now that I am older and somewhat wiser, I would like to talk to my younger self and slap the crap out of her.
