Jeremy Keen released his first full-length solo debut album in October of 2007 entitled ....False Starts.... on Ground Vinyl Records. This album captured Keen's raw emotion using beautiful arrangements and a wide stylistic range. Like the premier solo albums of artists like Paul McCartney, Sufjan Stevens, or Elliott Smith, Jeremy played most of the instruments and recorded much of the record himself. .. Keen says, "The idea in making this record was to capture the reactions I had to a tragic death in my family. All of the songs on this album are very personal and I wanted a medium to expose my thoughts as a way of coping with this dreadful situation. This record helped me grieve. Hopefully, others will find comfort in the fact that although there is suffering, there is also hope." .. .. Jeremy Keen released his first full-length solo debut album in October of 2007 entitled False Starts on Ground Vinyl Records. This album captured Keen's raw emotion using beautiful arrangements and a wide stylistic range. Like the premier solo albums of artists like Paul McCartney, Sufjan Stevens, or Elliott Smith, Jeremy played most of the instruments and recorded much of the record himself.
