While primarily known as the drummer for national recording artist Dead Poetic, Jesse Sprinkle has also released a number of solo records as a singer-songwriter in the past ten years. The Seattle, Washington native was thrust into the music industry over a decade ago as the drummer for the legendary underground group Poor Old Lu. Since the band disbanded in 1996, Jesse has been the
drummer for acts such as Demon Hunter, Michael Knott, Denison Witmer, Kutless, Starflyer 59, The Lashes and many others. In addition to recording and touring with Dead Poetic, Jesse stays busy as a songwriter, producer/recording engineer and is also the drummer for Rochester, N.Y. band Burning Daylight. Jesse is also the proud owner of Bluebrick Recordings in Avon, N.Y. Check out the Bluebrick Recordings MySpace page for more info!
Jesse hey man...thanks for accepting the friend request. Adam with Red Letter Statement told me you'd be a good contact.
I run an organization in NY called LifePlace. We've recently partnered with the Salvation Army and have started something called the Matthew25Project. It's aimed at bringing awareness and support to Youth Homelessness.
Pretty staggering statistics but believe it or not 1 in 50 kids in the U.S. are Homeless. We really want to do something to help and so we've organized The Revolution Tour. The Revolution Tour will go across the country and each event will focus on raising money for the youth shelters in that specific area of the country. We are working with a few different management companies right now trying to get some bigger named artists on board with this great cause.
Adam told me about your connection with Tooth and Nail. We are trying to find some bands who would be willing to play on The Revolution Tour. We have come across alot of bands that are booked up so what some of the bands have offered to do for us is make a short video expressing their support of the cause. As of now we have 2 big benefit concerts organized. One on July 25th in Syracuse, NY and another on August 9th in Rochester, NY. We also have future plans for events in NYC, Florida and CA.
Thanks a lot for the add. We are hoping and praying for the new album to be done in a couple of months, and to start playing out by summer. Please keep us in prayer. God bless you.
i pray to the guardian of the evil heart so they will allow the kindness going through then.. i am not into religion thing but what you did was totally phew.. it inspiring..
