Jet Black Stare's first single release - "Ready To Roll" - Peaked at 27 on Billboard's Active Rock charts, and 3 on their Heatseeker chart for bands to "look out for". It received significant exposure as the theme song for WWE Professional Wrestling's "Summer Slam" event, and as the theme song for XBOX's "NASCAR 2009" video game. Their music has been placed in the popular TV Show "Sons Of Anarchy", and has been used in numerous sporting broadcasts on NBC, CBS, ABC, CBC, TSN and CTV. You can also hear "Ready To Roll" regularly at NFL, NHL, and NBA stadiums during games, as well as last years SuperBowl.

JBS have toured The US extensively,with bands such as 3 Doors Down, Staind, Hinder, Puddle Of Mudd, Shinedown Drowning Pool, Theory Of A Deadman, Saliva and Seether to name just a few. Their exciting and energetic live show in combination with their solid radio play and media presence has allowed them to build an impressive fanbase that continues to grow daily.

THE INSPIRATION FOR THE SONG
"IN THIS LIFE"

The inspiration for the song "In This Life" came one night while the news was focusing on families that have members overseas, fighting in the war. Rod watched as they spoke of the pride they felt for their loved ones that were selflessly putting their lives on the line. He was struck by the courage not only of the soldiers, but of their families that supported them, it seemed both were making huge sacrifices. It's one of the most inspiring things that we ever come across in our lives - sacrifice, sometimes the ultimate sacrifice, so that we all can live free. This song attempts to embody this feeling in anyone who listens.
