At the age of 16, J.H. Sitton got his hands on his first guitar: an electric blue Fender
Stratocaster. Today, he is a doomsday poet with dark eyes and wisdom beyond his 25 years. He
spent the past months setting up a home studio, and each element of the workshop is geared
toward quality sound. Like a premium Cabernet, his full-bodied analog recordings warm the
blood.
Wearing a muted half-smile, he takes the stage and plays live performances with all the
conviction of a 3rd generation Southern Baptist. Fans listen intently because his visionary insight
is impossible to ignore. J.H. Sitton is a singer/songwriter, a poet, a recording engineer and an
inspiration. He is a traditional sentiment with an experimental edge, and there is no denying his
authenticity. Now that Oklahoma is currently poised to burst into full cultural bloom for the first
time, J.H. Sitton stands behind that invisible force that says, “Something’s got to give.”
His introversion spins a mystery; his music unravels the secret.
