Jim spends much of his time touring throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe with his own inimitable style, blending traditional and self-penned songs along with some covers in a performance that is always different and always memorable. .......................................................................................... Working from bases both in Wales and Denmark, Jim has just completed recording a new CD with Danish based artist Martin Dale, Jim has been performing with such diverse artists as American hammered dulcimer player Jim Couza and Irish Eurovision winner Johnny Logan. Jim has made a number of appearances on Danish & UK radio & TV and also MTV Europe. During the 1990s, Madra Rua were probably one of the hardest working acts touring the UK, playing at Irish Clubs and Bars, folk clubs and festivals, often playing 5 or 6 gigs in a week. After a number of recordings and many thousand miles of travelling, circumstances led to members pursuing different directions. Then, last year, founder members Ian Thomas & Jim Fox decided to get together and play some concerts and have been continuing to do so whenever the opportunity arises. ......................................................................................
