Hailing from Brooklyn, new york, is percussionist, electronic musician, producer, musical collaborator, and solo artist; Jimmy Lopez. Born of a highly energetic and creative spirit, he is considered the percussionist of choice for many artist. His global ethnic explorations as well as his diversified technological skills, make him a very creative musician. His electronic percussion is showcased on instruments such as the Roland HandSonic, the Korg Wave Drum, the Korg Kaoss pads, guitar effect processors, live loopstation, and the Alesis Air Synthesizers. (all combined together to create a unique use of loops , electronics, samplers, that on stage he builds a unique and innovative sound by mixing all this technological equipment with his own live percussion)........................................
