we're a bad bar for rotten people buried past the frontier in a 'hood called Trinidad. it's 1103 Bladensburg Rd. NE, DC, open Wednesday thru Sunday from 10 PM til close. take a left off H St. NE onto Bladensburg and come up about 6 blocks. you gotta watch the building numbers 'cause there's no sign out front, and if you cab over we've got an '88 Caddy limo on white walls and wires to run you back to the Union Station cab stand on request. for real, the Jimmy Wagon's free, though tips are def helpful for gassing up the beast.
we've got all the normal liquor and about 20 beers ranging from Schlitz Blue Label 40's (champagne service), Tecate Tallboys, & Colt .45 22's to Delirium, Harp & Sierra... it's all over the map. we also serve personal pizzas, just ask what we got in the fridge cause it changes up.
our friends helped us build our bar completely by ourselves using salvaged architecture, found items, and raw materials, and somehow we ended up with a gorgeous bride Frankenstein modeled after legendary dives like Snake and Jake's Christmas Lounge and Kingpin (R.I.P. both). we could never repay our friends for their kindness but at least now they've got a place of their own. one thing's for sure, you can judge us by our friends and that's a true story.
anyway, the walls are vivid red with cool art from around the world, and we play dope music as random as our beer list. we don't have a jukebox and we don't take requests so build your own bar if it's that important to you. we did. oh yeah, there's no martini glasses so if you need a birdbath you're too cool for us. it's just chilled vodka or gin, we'll gladly serve it to you in a rocks glass.
