Jimmy wolf is a singer-songwriter-guitarist who brings a new and exciting energy to the world of blues and rock.He takes the delta-chicago blues,50's rock and R&B then mixes it with chainsaw guitar and overdriven voice to create a soulful music experience .Jimmy toured with Jimmy"fast fingers"Dawkins,Bill Doggett,and Larry"texas flood"Davis.He shared the stage with blues legends Buddy Guy,Jr. Wells,Albert King,Albert Collins,Johnny Copeland,Millie Jackson and Little Johnny Taylor. Jimmy is a Turtle clan Mohawk from upstate new york. nominated 3 times for best blues recording at the 1999 , 2000 and 2008 native american music awards.Nominated for Best Blues recording at the 2008 Syracuse Area Music Awards.Awarded First Nations Composer & American Composers Forum Grant for outstanding performance and lasting contribution July 1st,2008. awarded for the best blues release at the 10th annual native american music awards oct.4th 2008.

Sorry I've been outta touch, been quite busy lately ... lots of travel back and forth from home in Sioux Falls, to Estes Park Colorado where my daughter attends band camp. So I've been off line quite a bit. My daughter plays flute, both classical and Cedar. She's building a collection, she has 2 recorders, 2 classical flutes, 2 wooden flutes, one was a gift from a native friend of ours, the other, a Cedar wooden flute, I had built for her, by a good friend. She is really good with both, with an emphasis on classical, as we pay a lot of tutors to guide her. Now looking for a good native flute tutor. I'll try harder to stay in touch my friend, and I am hoping our paths will cross soon. I play guitar too, with an emphasis on blues. See ya ... jg
