I'm a native of Athy, a small rural town in the midlands of Ireland. I've been playing and writing music for longer than I care to remember. I don't take life too seriously, it's there to be enjoyed....sometimes it's hard to enjoy it but I try my best.
Things in life which have held and continue to still hold my interest in no particular order: North American Indians, their culture, way of life and mysticism: Gazing up at a night sky on a starry night, realising how small and insignificent we are and then just getting lost in the beauty of the whole thing: A full moon - especially when it's low in the sky and it's that lovely golden orange colour: Quiet and lonely places - places that have been forgotten by the march of progress especially the wilderness of the riverbanks near my home: Gothic writings by authors such as Edgar Allan Poe and M.R. James: Christmas - especailly Eve and morning: My family - the glue that holds me together: Guitars - guitars and more guitars: Good music - there's always music playing in our house.
To date I have released seven albums the last four, Yeah - What the Hell (2005) Factory Town (2007), Devil in the grain (2008) and Slow night on the river (2009) are available for purchase on my CDBaby webpages.
