Hakkımızda João Cabrita

Com uma carreira de 20 anos repleta de colaborações com um enorme número de nomes do circuito musical português, tal como SITIADOS, DESPE E SIGA, LINHA DA FRENTE, SÉRGIO GODINHO, SUSANA FÉLIX, COOL HIPNOISE, PRINCE WADADA, o saxofonista João Cabrita concebe agora um projecto há muito adiado; Juntar um grupo de colegas/amigos para participar no género musical mais democrático de todos – o Jazz.

Os temas originais reflectem todo um mundo de impressões, estados de alma e memórias angariadas ao longo de todos estes riquíssimos anos de viagem musical, e servem apenas de ponto de partida para novos caminhos, experiências e vôos partilhados com os excelentes músicos deste ensemble.

English Version:

After 20 years of collaborative work with almost everyone in the Portuguese music scene, Sax player João Cabrita finally delves into a long postponed project: to gather an ensemble of musicians/friends to participate in this new musical journey.

All of João's themes intend to create a starting point for the ensemble to share their wealth of impressions, experiences, histories. Hopefully the end result will be recorded in an album during 2009.
