The Bible is my favorite book above all!
I have 4 main authors i really enjoy. . . . J.R.R.Tolkien --- this is perhaps the most magnificient and intelligent writer of the 20th century and perhaps ever. . . Dean Koontz, brilliant all his books are good. . . Michael Creighton (spelled it wrong im sure) he has written some really intriguing books... and of course God, He wrote the number 1 all time selling book, The Holy Bible and without it i would have gone insane!
I love Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker books too. . .

I guess by far Jesus is my hero. . . . I also like Peter and Paul. . . Peter because he did screw up yet God still used him, Paul because he was a sinner and God converted him. . . . . as far as superheroes I like The Thing hes a big guy and is cool and misunderstood. I also have a picture of Superman with a cruifix in the background.

MY TESTIMONY: A SHORT SIMPLIFIED VERSION
I was raised by a single mother, where I could look out the front door and see the house my dad lived in. Before the divorce my dad was always drinking and messing around, no wonder I became an alcoholic. I was always look for acceptance and I found it in various places. First was football; with all the built up anger, (and illegal use of steroids) I took it out on quarterbacks and runningbacks. Second I found acceptance in the opposite sex, looking for love in all the wrong places. Third I found acceptance in becoming a racist. I was full of hate and I can say I even hated myself. By the age of 21 I was a recruiter for a small group of racists we called the New Order Knights of the KKK. We followed everything the KKK believed and then added some extremes. I was like this. I was almost married, yet 7 days before the wedding I walked in on my fiance with another man. I spent almost a year and a half in the bottle (alcohol). On April 15, 2001 I began living for Jesus Christ. I havent turned back, will not turn back and will keep trucking!
I want everyone to know that I am pursuing my calling for God, I have been called to preach the Gospel to the lost. I have a desire and a passion to reach the lost and to lead teens into a fully commited relationship with Jesus Christ. I am available to be a guest speaker to any church or youth group. Well I have been called alot of things in the past, but there are a couple of names i go by, Joe, Joecephus, or anything but late for dinner. Hahaha. This is supposed to be about me, and since im not good talking about myself i will try. I have been single and dateless by choice for 8 yrs (more or less). It took a few yrs to get back on track after i had my heart shattered. i am a Christian. sometimes Christians stumble but the best time for God to hear you is when you are on your knees. I write alot. I write different things, short stories, poems, christian raps, and i even like to write sermons. I am called to be a preacher, i want to meet a good christian woman who wants a preacher as a husband. well 'nuff about me.
Who I'd like to meet:
I’m part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have Holy Spirit power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I’m a disciple of His. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still.
My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. I’m finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don’t have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on his presence, walk by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.
My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions are few, my guide is reliable, my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I wont give up, shut up, let up until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and preached up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops me. And when He comes for His own, He will have no problem recognizing me – my banner will be clear.
I am soldier in the army of God! The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct! Faith, prayer and the word are my weapons of warfare!
I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire! I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity!
I will either retire in this army at the rapture... or die in this army...But I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out!!!
I am faithful, reliable, capable, and dependable, if my God need me, I am there! If He needs me in Sunday school, to teach children, work with the youth, help adults or just sit and learn, He can use me, because I am there! I am a Soldier!
I am not a baby! I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up! I am a Soldier!
No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me! I am a Soldier!
I am not a wimp! I am in place, saluting my King obeying His orders, praising His name and building His kingdom!
No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy, or give me handouts! I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to! I am Committed!
I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around! I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside! I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit! When Jesus called me into this army, I had nothing! If I end up with nothing, I will still come out even! I will win!
My God will supply all my needs! I am more than a conqueror!! I will always triumph!!
I can do all things through Christ!!!
Devils cannot defeat me! People cannot disillusion me! Weather cannot weary me! Sickness cannot stop me and battles cannot beat me! Money cannot buy me! Governments cannot silence me and HELL CANNOT HANDLE ME!
I am a soldier! Even death cannot destroy me! For when my commander calls me from this battlefield, He will promote me to a captain and then bring me back to rule this world with Him!

does not say put on the Armor piece by peace. It says put on the Whole Armor. It describes the Armor only; piece-by-piece that is already mantled into one body suit. It cannot be dismantled, for it comes complete.
Let us sink into our armor, it fits like a glove, it's like putting on the Lord Jesus Christ
(Rom.13:14), He is our Armour. Once the Armour is on, no one or nothing can stop us! For it is no longer us, but Jesus as our shell as we are In Him.
