Sounds Like
Mr. Rogers doing a Louis Prima impersonation, but it depends on the song.
Sometimes I remind myself of Johnny Mercer.
Regardless all else, sounds like someone who is figuring it out and cheering hurt hearts with the findings.
"[A] great album... in the vein of The Velvet Underground and Nico, or The Replacements’ Let It Be: it will never be heard by everyone, but everyone who hears it will be inspired." --Jezebel Music

Hey Joe, I am in San Francisco but I will be in New York from the 16th of June onwards. Iam getting a little worried because I haven't organised a place yet. As you know I am not to quick on the internet stuff and I haven't sorted out a sublet off the craigslist thing yet. Anyway just got to hope for the best and go with the flow. And I packed way too much stuff which I have to lug all over the country. Ahhh. Help. Zelda
Hey Joe, I am thinking of running away to New York in July. Do you know of any really cheap places I can stay in around Brooklyn or near the sidewalk cafe or thereabouts? I'll probably stay for 6 weeks. Let me know if you've got any ideas. Hugs and kisses Zelda
Hey Joe Crow! i'd be honored to sing you some songs this Saturday night... No mics, no amps, just voice & guitar in a stone basement of St Paul's Cathedral at Columbia University. free show, 8:30p
