New to the Austin area, John Michael Rose is a breath of fresh air in the local music scene. Already featured on the Fox 7 News Morning Show, John Michael has quickly staked his claim in the Austin Music Scene.
An original Atlanta resident and player, John Michael played all over the South-East with his band along with many other names including, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, The Allman Brothers, Susan Tedeschi, Big Bill Morganfield, Bob Margolin, Chris Duarte and Big Eyes Willie Smith.
Last March, John Michael released his high selling debut album, "Still On My Mind", a mix of Blues, Americana and Rock, and is doing very well both online and in unit sales.
John Michael Rose packs shows on the east coast along with shows in Texas at clubs like, Saxon Pub, Johnny Fins and The Iguana Grill.
Currently John Michael has put together a star studded band additionally featuring Jackie Newhouse on Bass (Stevie Ray Vaughan), Randy Williams ..s (Clay Walker) and Nick Kantar (Jackie Greene) on drums.
