Jolly Rox came to existence early in 2005. The name and symbol of the band are a rock'n'roll echo of the early pirate skull and crossbones, the world famous Jolly Roger. The band's musical and performing act is mainly classic rock revisiting the styles of present day cult bands like Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Poison, and Toto with a further twist of European glamour. In their first two years, the band toured exclusively but extensively in Tuscan territory, until in 2007 a turning point found them playing live in Milan, Treviso, Turin, Alessandria, and Bologna. Between 2007 and 2008 Jolly Rox opened shows for internationally renowned bands like Nasty Idols, Wednesday 13, Erocktica, Pretty Boy Floyd, Britny Fox, Bullet Boys and Bud Tribe. 2009 marks the beginning of long awaited production of their first true album...

i Jolly Rox si formano agli inizi del 2005. Nome e simbolo sono una rivisitazione in chiave rock dello storico simbolo pirata, il jolly rogers. la proposta musicale e scenica e' un classico rock che rivisita gli stili di band ormai cult come Motley crue, Bon Jovi, Poison e Toto. nel corso dei primi due anni la band si sottopone ad un lungo rodaggio suonando esclusivamente sul territorio toscano, fino a quando nel 2007 raggiunge una piccola svolta calcando i palchi di Milano, Treviso, Torino, Alessandria e Bologna. Fra il 2007 e il 2008 i Jolly Rox aprono i concerti di importandi Bands internazionali come Nasty Idols, Wednesday 13, Erocktica, Pretty boy floyd, Britny fox, Bullet Boys e Bud Tribe. Finalmente nel 2009 arriva la tanto attesa produzione del primo vero album...

I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

Come avrete ben capito si tratta del ex cantante degli Iron Maiden BLAZE BAYLEY. Ricordiamo inoltre che la manifestazione si terrà sabato 25 luglio presso il campo sportivo di Mercatale di Cortona (AR) ed è ad INGRESSO GRATUITO e che vedrà la partecipazione anche dei Secret Sphere e dei Pollution. Pour la 6ème édition du Festival Country de Gramat, le programme de ces 3 journées de fêtes regroupe toutes les manifestations sur le site de la Garenne : stages de danse country, expositions de voitures et motos américaines, concerts de musique, épreuves d’équitation western, présentations amérindiennes (avec tipis, amérindiens et westerner’s), expositions artisanales et jeux pour les enfants. Comme les années précédentes, ambiance Far-West assurée pour les petits comme pour les grands ! L’animation de la ville ne sera pas oubliée avec la traditionnelle parade des cavaliers, des motos, des danseurs, des chevaux… à travers les rues de Gramat. En 2009, la programmation musicale du Festival est composée de groupes de renommée internationale avec une « pointure » française en tête d’affiche : MICHAEL JONES le dimanche 26 juillet au soir.
