Influences
There are many singers who influenced me; Mario Lanza, Placido Domingo, The Great Caruso, Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban to name
but few. All I want to achieve is an honesty so people
truly believe what you are singing about as the story is the important thing. You cannot imitate greatness, just be yourself. Check out my website if you want to learn, see, and hear more; visit www.jonchristos.com and click to join The STREET TEAM.
Sounds Like
Mario Lanza, Enrico Caruso, Fritz Wunderlich, Andrea Bocelli, and a young Domingo so people say - to me I just sound like me!

Jon Christos, the story so far...... After years taking leading roles in Opera throughout Europe and across the globe, I longed for a
change of direction as I felt unfulfilled always singing the same music. After signing with manager Perry Hughes, renowned
songwriters and the Roots Music Group team, I released my debut album "Northern Light" - a mix of mostly new Opera inspired
tracks as you can hear above and on the videos below currently airing on Classic FM TV. Soon you will be able to hear the much anticipated
second album, something a little different but not to be missed!
I am influenced by so many styles and artists; Josh
Groban is a big influence; he manages to do something different from what's expected but with class, and there is Mario Lanza
and the late great Luciano Pavarotti. My love of Opera came when I first heard The Three Tenors at the 1990 World Cup; since then
I have listened to many wonderful singers, but my absolute hero and idol in this field is Mario Lanza, not only is the voice
unbelievable but the passion and delivery outweighs anything I've heard in Opera to date. The development of new genres
inspired me to break away from the classical norm, I want to introduce more new music and styles with stories everyone can relate
to and make it accessible to everyone.

Career
highlights so far include the success of "Northern Light" as well as being on 7 albums, between them achieving Platinum and Gold
sales, and there are 3 music videos currently playing on Classic FM TV. There are many National and International TV and Radio appearances across Europe, Cincinnati. Canada and New York for the U.N. to name but few -
being guest artist for the 9/11 Memorial Concert in the US, and recently performing to crowds of up to 75,000 at The Millenium
Stadium, City of Manchester Stadium, Twickenham; performances on tour at every major UK concert hall, Manchester's G-Mex, for
Prince Charles at Cunards opening ceremony of The Queen Victoria, and recently at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester for The World
Swimming Championships. I also have 2 Radio shows; "Sacred Thoughts" on Premier, and "Why We Love" on BBC Radio Lancashire. Remember, ALBUM 2 COMING SOON!
At the end of the day, I just want to make
my family proud, be successful and make a difference in people's lives God willing, meet and work with as many artists as poss
and have a dam good time! So far so good!!
Much love to all, god bless, Jon.xx,
