Based in Brooklyn, NY, Jon is a guitarist and singer who blurs the lines between the blues, country, folk, and improvised music. Over the past five years he has contributed guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and vocals to jug bands, string bands, rock bands, blues bands, bar bands, and sometimes bands on records and on stage in locations ranging from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the Juke Joints of Memphis, Tennessee, the flatlands of the Midwest, all the way to the great northeast corridor that stretches from DC, Philly, and NYC up through New England. This past year saw him do shows in 10 states and 22 cities across the U.S. with the release of his new album, ‘breaking down.’ The record has been gathering steam in these regions via grass roots sales at shows, radio promotion, and just good old fashion word of mouth. Most recently he has had a monthly residency at Banjo Jim’s in the Lower east side of Manhattan while continuing to unveil new music with regular shows in his hometown of New York City and the surrounding tri-state area. Boasting an extensive song list, his shows vary greatly from night to night and he can be caught playing anything from a kazoo to a beer bottle in his sets.
The new full length Jon LaDeau Trio album is now available at shows and online!
unfortunately its not a nitefly, but a P-36, which is a telecaster style parker and also a bit less expensive... its aight... thinking about putting in some stacked humbucker pickups

John-john! If I remember correctly, you said you were coming this-a-way soon. What were the dates?
If you're in the area on the first Monday of the month, come to IOTA and check out the Federal Reserve. It's like a supa dupa sweet version of Sultry Sundays.
I will bust out ye' ol' faithful banana pants in your honor.
