I was always a serious musician growing up. I began playing piano at age 4, then violin and trumpet at age 7, and finally guitar by age 9. I never really had many formal lessons. Instead I would play along with records to players such as Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, and Randy Rhoads.
I joined my first serious club band at age 19 and from playing around the New York area, I managed to get an audition for Warlock, which led to my first recording and touring experience at age 22. After the Warlock experience came to an end, I moved to Los Angeles to continue my career, where I eventually became the guitarist in Dokken.
Hope to see you at a Dokken show!

Hi Jon, if you followed the "Lyrics-to-Song" project and liked the first two songs, you may also enjoy listening to the third project song. The music is built around the lyrics of my very good friend Mike "Bass" Geren.
If You Were A Song (by Mike "Bass" Geren and Alien Graffiti)
As all good things go by three and I don't want to annoy you, this song is ought to be the final project song. But if you think Alien Graffiti should continue the project, drop me a message or comment.
WHAT UP? COME SCOPE ME OUT! THANKS!!! ROCK!!! ~johnny~
