Heroes
Jay Gatsby of The Great Gatsby is a young man, around thirty years old, who rose from an impoverished childhood in rural North Dakota to become fabulously wealthy. However, he achieved this lofty goal by participating in organized crime, including distributing illegal alcohol and trading in stolen securities. From his early youth, Gatsby despised poverty and longed for wealth and sophistication—he dropped out of St. Olaf’s College after only two weeks because he could not bear the janitorial job with which he was paying his tuition. Though Gatsby has always wanted to be rich, his main motivation in acquiring his fortune was his love for Daisy Buchanan, whom he met as a young military officer in Louisville before leaving to fight in World War I in 1917. Gatsby immediately fell in love with Daisy’s aura of luxury, grace, and charm, and lied to her about his own background in order to convince her that he was good enough for her. Daisy promised to wait for him when he left for the war, but married Tom Buchanan in 1919, while Gatsby was studying at Oxford after the war in an attempt to gain an education. From that moment on, Gatsby dedicated himself to winning Daisy back, and his acquisition of millions of dollars, his purchase of a gaudy mansion on West Egg, and his lavish weekly parties are all merely means to that end. --I can respect Jay Gatsby's life, because fortunately yet unfortunately, it is glaringly similar to my own...(sigh)

You can see some of the MUSIC VIDEOS I've produced down below, under all my jibber jabber and rambling. ;)
My senior year in high school, I spent a week designing a giant Milk carton to resemble that of a popular ad campaign of the time. I have always loved the world of advertising and marketing. My blog is a way for me to vent the thoughts of a twenty-something male, living in a world that is teeming with brand messages.
I often get carried away and want to go back to the future, though I’ve yet to go for the first time. One of my most supernatural experiences happened in the bathroom of a Steak & Ale. The other was watching Captain EO in 3D at Disneyland when I was six.
People that attend college and then never open another book, frustrate me. That frustration turns into annoyance when they think they are smarter than me because they have a framed sheet of paper. That annoyance turns to earnest indignation when that person’s “sheet of paper” is from Hamburger University.
Before I die, I’d like to take a crack at being President of the United States of America. Either that, or maybe just play the President on television. Apply that same formula to: doctor, astronaut, Olympic athlete, gunfighter and Santa Clause.

ON A SERIOUS NOTE:
~MY COMPANY~ I own a production company called Suited Productions. (www.suitedproductions.com) PAPERTANK (formerly Suited) is a film and video production company based out of Austin, Texas. Our goal is to allow bands, looking for more exposure, the opportunity to get their image, style and personality out to the people who need to see it (venues, labels, fans, etc). Through professional music videos and Electronic Press Kits, we give music artists a product that makes their band stand out from all the rest. Our DVD packages are the perfect way to show venues and labels what your band is all about and allows your fans the chance to show you off to their friends. Make a little money for your band and gain exposure all at the same time. Promo DVD's are a great addition to your album sales. Take a look at our website ----> http://www.suitedproductions.com. We would love to talk with you about the packages we offer and the ways that we can get your band noticed. Contact Us (jon@suitedproductions.com) with any questions you might have! GEEZE! I don't think I plugged the company enough!
~A BIT OF SILLINESS~
I design soapbox cars and race them (sometimes). People say that I'm a good BBQer. I'm a runner (long distance). I once killed a bird with a rock, so I guess you could say I have rock throwing skills. I'm good at making forts (below or above ground). I once ate 2 dozen Krispie Cream donuts before they went through the sugar machine (so it was just bread with a hole in it I guess), I think Im the only guy to have done that. My date, Brichelle White (SO AMAZING!) designed a denim suit for me to wear to my prom and a denim dress for herself...we pretty much looked AWESOME...she's the most talented fashion designer alive...keep a lookout. I used to hang out with the copy room lady Mrs. Tippen at school and make copies of my hand, then draw hidden messages on them and put them in the teachers boxes....So I guess you could say that being a "hand artist" is a skill that I have. I'm pretty good at drawing barbed wire tattoos on peoples arms or legs with a pen. I've got other skills that I can talk about, but I don't want to give away all my secrets. I mean just think if all Superman's enemies knew about the whole kryptonite thing. He probably wouldn't last long. Well unless he knew that they knew, then he could formulate a wicked awesome plan to beat up the bad guys before they got him.

Who I'd like to meet:
Robert K. Wilson (the first man to photograph the Loch Ness Monster), Senpai Phyllis (founder of the Seido Karate Deaf Program at LaGuardia Community College), Emmett Brown “Doc” (the inventor of the time machine) and Paul Taylor (the world’s greatest living choreographer). In the trunk I would throw Al Snow (of the WWF) and find out if he could escape.
