Since the age of 5, Josh has recognized his career path in life and has let nothing stand in the way of achieving his goal to entertain. He began his acting career in national commercials for Adidas, Cingular, Nokia, Sony and American Eagle. With his career off to a great start, Josh was offered a breakout role on the Fox television hit: "The O.C.", was featured in music videos: "I Call It Love" by the Lionel Richie and "Let U Go" by Ashley Parker Angel and has many more projects in the works! SELECTIVE ENTERTAINMENT is also gearing up to shoot five 5 features within the next year. Additionally, Joshua is set to star in his own reality TV show called "Hollywood and Vine" with a major network, of which he has assumed the role: Executive Producer. This is all in addition to recording a solo debut album with a major label due for release in 2009. The title of the album, "Transition" incorporates the overnight struggles that come with success in the industry such as being true to yourself, true to others, exploring the fakeness in friendships and balancing a relationship . In promotion of his new single, Joshua will be on "The Tonight show with Jay Leno", "The Jimmy Kimmel Show", "Last Call with Carson Daly", "The Tyra Banks Show" and "The View". Joshua is just as active behind the camera as he is in front of it. He has taken an active role in projects both as a director and producer, as he is interested in every aspect of production. He enjoys putting the extra effort into his projects because he is passionate about his work. Although Josh has an extremely hectic schedule, he always finds time to give back to the community. He is currently working directly with The Entertainment Industry Foundation, a large charity organization that organizes 300+ fund raising events a year for the betterment of underprivileged children. Additionally, he is starting his own charitable foundation called Kids in Need of an Education which will provide much needed supplies to our under-funded public school systems. He plans on involving young role models in the entertainment industry such as actors, writers, singers, rappers, etc…to also be involved. Joshua doesn't stay around for the applause or recognition. Instead his work is its own reward. His passion is what drives him and is consistently in pursuit of projects that will challenge him creatively. The more challenging the project, the greater the satisfaction Joshua gains from the experience. Ready for him or not, Joshua Bredehoft will become a name in Hollywood and around the world that will be respected. His motto has always been, "Work hard, play hard." Although he knows how much fortitude it takes to establish a name and succeed in the industry, Josh is more than determined and ready for whatever comes his way! (10/2008)
Thanks for the friendship.. Hope you enjoy the music and message behind it. My mission in life is to fight Human Trafficking. understanding the individual pain of others is sometimes to painful for an other individual to touch and that is frightening ...what i mean is that someone whose life is not traumatized and brutalized as a regular sequence of every day events unconsciously seeks the camouflage and shelter of apathy and banality from the reality of such devastating anguish and terror ...but the spirit of young people who are used as sex slaves in the systematized global industry of human trafficking is now reaching out to the human fellowship in hope and desperation and through technology ...it is scary when humanity turns a blind eye to this horror ...its like ignoring genocide whilst it is happening ...what i am asking is that if you hear the cry of these young people who are existing in an environment of torture and brutality each and every day that you then please do not turn away from them ...please reach deeply into your heart and soul and please in 2009 join a movement or become a part of an event that challenges modern slavery in the 21st century ...
