....Josh Boyd has been writing and performing poetry for several years. With a fulfilling solo career under his belt, he also works with music acts. Boyd tears open his chest, pulls his heart out and leaves his blood on every stage he graces. His knack for metaphor is staggering, the confessions are intimate. Boyd's poetry is both haunting and comforting. He is obviously a very sensitive artist and just wants to be held... ....Boyd has had the honor to work on some truly astounding projects with Des Moines' locals Seaberg, Cleo's Apartment and Aaron Ward. He is still recording with Aaron Ward and has assembled a new band called Josh Boyd & La Petite Mort, a beaming crew of amazingness.
