musicians who know that lyrics are just as important as melody...
also, i only dig musicians who DON'T use auto-tune in the studio like so much of the crap that's pumped down our throats via radio and tv. sorry to be bitter, but you'll never know if a musician is the real deal until you see them live.

from underground, crime and punishment, moby dick, the entire salinger collection, especially franny and zooey, anything by sedaris, sentimental education,
anything by oscar wilde, especially the portrait of dorian gray, man and superman, or anything by george bernard shaw, the leopard, the dwarf, old goriot, i
don't know, you get the picture, a lot of frenchmen, like sartre, camus, balzac, flaubert, some germans, mann, hesse and bohl, and anything russian - all
tolstoy, dostoyevsky, turgenev, pushkin, gogol, etc...
Looking back on the months gone by, As a new year starts and an old one ends, We contemplate what brought us joy, And we think of our loved ones and our friends.
Recalling all the happy times, Remembering how they enriched our lives, We reflect upon who really counts, As the fresh and bright new year arrives.
And when I ponder those who do, I immediately think of you.

Dear Joshua, it is the time of the year again. Time flies! Time to reflect, time to think about Things, absent Friends and the future. Do you remember your New Year's resolutions of the past year? To me, 2009 was a rather exciting year with a lot of nice things and a few awkward episodes. I have put a great deal of work into my album.
