J-Path aka Lowprofile aka Kilpartik is casually vying for Seoul-city’s No.1 spot as music producer extraordinaire.
Like many who to continue to hone their brilliance, J-Paths initial dabbling in bands and (later) collaborations merged with an intense knowing that there is always more possible in this realm, has lead him to his current space of creation, today.
As South Korea’s favoured drum and bass soundbwoy, J-Path has dropped his own magic alongside & hosted heavyweights of the genre as they have steadily rolled into Seoul over the past 3 years, representing a sound previously unheard of on these shores.
Artists like: Klute, Goldie, Storm, Doc Scott, Marcus Intalex, Blame & D-Bridge (just to name a few) have all been welcomed and impressed by what J-Path has been a contribution to for putting drum and bass in Korea on the worldwide music map.
Not likely to limit himself to any one style, J-Path’s musical vocabulary speaks in abundant tongues – as he progressively expands to virtually anything he puts his attention on.
This year sees him preparing to release his first album, a remix of a collection of Windy City songs (a local Korean reggae band) and other projects to add to the tsunami effect that is this explosion of sound.
