About me:

I'm Randy, sometimes known as John. I moved to Tucson, Arizona back in '07, and was pretty much stuck out in Vail most of the time since then. Goodbye Milwaukee! I hope to return someday.

I'm currently back in school, at Pima Community College, and should be getting a networking associate's in 2010. Plenty of field experience under my belt, but looks like it'll help to have those fancy pieces of paper, too. I already got one minor fancy piece of paper; according to the reader on stage, I now have a certificate in Lynx! I'm not sure if that was for the IT field or veterinary. (The reader didn't know how to pronounce "Linux". -ed.)

When not in class, my usual places to hang out so far have been the Safehouse (the coffee house here in Tucson, not the bar back in Milwaukee), the Surly Wench Pub, and Java Edge (but only back when it was still Javalina's). It's been much better since I got a motorcycle and can actually get out of Vail on my own.
