Portland has a city code that forbids anyone to paint over or destroy murals or original painted signs on their older buildings. Majority of the buildings in the district are these WONDERFUL old brick buildings that have been converted into "artist" lofts... with great old advertisements and signs painted on them.
I wonder if it's the same for the rest of the architectural elements and water towers, they're all over. *sigh*
It started with a bottle (or so) of wine and a "you have to see what I found!" next thing I know, there I am, Jenn the smart ass, reenacting a scene from a really bad 70's porno when someone whips out a camera phone.
