MySpace a place for friends

"The leaf it opened to face another day,
searching for water and sun,
a balance of desire it could never seperate

It glared at the sun glowing in warmth,
it prayed for the rain,
the coolness it sought

It peer down towards its mother roots,
unable to satisfy its longing,
its wants reflecting inside rendered mute

The attention turned to the flight down,
it noticed a hole in its form,
doubling its perception and it was daunt

Discouraged it shifted to its sheltered side,
but the perfection of its fellow leaves,
wilted its well being and wounded its pride

Finally it turned to the remaning view,
to the left of the right from above and below,
it shudder at what it never knew

Caught up in the being of itself,
its brother and sister and mother alone,
never seaching past what now dealt

Before it stood its fellow trees,
the condition of time and it wares,
witnessing the batter state of distant leaves

The hole of its own dimished in size,
it was not that big in misfortune,
compared to state of other tattered lifes

A dew drop formed and rolled down,
gentle melancholy tracing its stem,
and softly kissing sadness to the ground

The leaf then drew up from inside,
gathering a rising prayer of the universal,
sending towards those it once denied

Then the whole tree trembled whole,
swaying to its surroundings mystified,
now its fellow extensions joined the fold

Because of one leaf accepting others,
a whole rooted village of selfishness,
overcame and shared truth afterall"
