Sounds Like
If you took the Foo Fighters, the Presidents of the United States of America, the Flaming Lips, and They Might Be Giants, mashed them together into a paste and fed them to a manatee named Hugh, you could possibly have something that sounds a little like Junebug.
We also have it on good authority that Heaven sounds a lot like Junebug.
Drawing on many influences from numerous genres including psychedelic, funk, grunge, classic rock, reggae and even country, Junebug fuses together the best of all worlds to create a sound that is uniquely their own. The lyrical hooks, funky rhythms and rock n roll licks have caused countless crowds to get up and boogie. Singer/guitarist Anthony Bergman and drummer Tony L. Kollman first met one another in Kindergarten. They became acquainted with guitarist Dustin Marks in the ninth grade. Now, as fortune would have it, they have found themselves and one another in the Twin Cities. They met up with bassist Nick Wosika, who was the final ingredient in completing the Junebug sound. Their longstanding friendship and age-old rapport have extended to their musical relationship, propelling them into their own individual feel and energetic vibe.

"Junebug's recipe for success includes their diversity in songwriting, seamlessly woven progressions and arrangements, natural and unforced lyrics, and a free-spirited approach to everything. Junebug has excellent control over the pace and energy in their studio album which translates into a good live show." --Perry Nelson, High Plains Reader
"Share is a well-written and perfectly played album of summer jams. Junebug blend influences ranging from classic rock to grunge, with a little bit of funk groove and do it extremely well. ...Interesting vocal delivery that fits well with the music." -- Swimmer's Ear Magazine
"I enjoyed the Junebug CD [Share]. Great late '60s early '70s vibe with a hint of Sgt. Peppers thrown in, too." --Cliff Goldmacher, producer/songwriter/writer for EQ & Mix magazines
"A vault of versatility...a tickling combination of old, featuring spiny wah-wahs, ballpark organs and thoughtful hooks amid familiar classic rock riffs." -- Andrew Nelson, The Reporter
"It's the type of music that really gets crowds groovin'." -- Rob Hudson, Showcase Minnesota
"Share is a piece of art that is now hung on the walls of my heart and soul and imprinted on my brain...There is no way to choose a favorite tune..." -- Diane Johnson, Hendricks Pioneer
"Junebug...combines funky rhythms, melodies that jam and lyrics that will follow you out the door." -- A-List Magazine
"Fun...that's as accurate as any description of Junebug's music. " -- Scott Waltman, Aberdeen American News
"A terrific collection of assholes. Musically talented to boot." -- Gabe Noah, Twin Cities comedian
"Really funny and quirky." -- Elizabeth Ries, Twin Cities Live
