Hello and welcome to our MySpace profile. My name is Justin Curtis and I perform with my wife Sally-Jo.
Together we spend most of their time travelling from show to show singing about life's heartaches and love stories while Sally-Jo pounds out the rhythm on her upright bass and I strum along on my acoustic guitar. Recently we paused to get together with some of our friends to complete our fourth CD, Shoulda Known Better.
Shoulda Known Better was produced by our pal Russell Broom and features him on mandolin, keyboards and guitar (acoustic, electric, lap steel). Added to the mix are other A-list musicians playing drums, piano, organ, harmonica, pedal steel as well as a couple surprises.
Combining influences of Hank Snow, Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Stompin’ Tom, Mike Ness, Blue Rodeo and many others I think this CD offers a fresh twist on classic roots rockabilly outlaw country music.
