A diamond is the result of what happens when you dust off a rare gem that
has been overlooked through the years. The talented singer/songwriter J.W.
radiates a flawless shine of this rare diamond. With the combination of
his powerful voice and melodic harmony a dash of Southern flavor fused
together with jaw dropping choreography he is ready to show off to the
world just how captivating he can be on his own.
He considers artists like Otis Redding, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Usher
and Stevie Wonder instrumental in the development of his love for music.
When J.W. was a freshman in high school he was asked to write and sing a
hook for a local Louisiana rap artist. The song turned out to be such a
success that it helped launch J.W. into the limelight and jumpstarted his
professional career as a recoding artist.
Having only started his career at the young age of 15, he has been
propelling rapidly through the industry establishing a name and place for
himself. Within 3 years J.W. has won numerous talent showcases that
allowed him the opportunity to open up for major artists such as Lil Wayne, Missy, The Pack, Fabolous to Monica. He has even had the honor of
receiving a National ASCAP Award. Like a glistening diamond, J.W. will
continue to stay solid and shine for his fans through his music.
