What TRULY set the stage was my efforts to be respected as a full on professional in 1996. August 16, 17 and 18th 1996, I hooked up with Jimi's engineer Eddie Kramer to record part of my album. Kramer is reknown for his recording work with The Beatles, The Stones, Zeppelin, KISS, Santana etc. These were the same dates as when he recorded the entire Woodstock in 1969. Here we were in 1996 on the same days...27 years to the date later. Two years later, in 1998, I was advised to submit my work with Eddie to the newly formed "Hendrix Records". The step sister of Jimi and Leon, Janie who heads up Experience Hendrix wrote me and stated, "the music was under review at Hendrix Records". I was ecstatic to be considered as someone who may be a recording artist at Hendrix Records. Sadly, they closed the label down as it was not profitable for them and they were really in business to sell Jimi's recordings.
Two years after the Hendrix Records scenario and four years after working with Eddie I was introduced to Jimi's brother Leon Hendrix and asked to play at his first show in Venice Beach in November of 2000. Each year I was invited out for the Jimi Hendrix Birthday Concerts he was heading up and slowly becoming the focal point of as he was picking up guitar in an effort to grow into the music which is most obviously the strongest aspect of the Hendrix family history.
Three years after that first show and traveling from Chicago back and forth to L.A. and Seattle (2000-2003), I was asked to move out to Seattle and "join the team". I moved out to Seattle in 2004 and shortly thereafter designed the new "Leon Hendrix: Keeper Of The Flame" album cover as well as played some solos in the studio for the album. As soon as we finished the record I was asked to join the band. Ever since August 2005 where we debuted at the massive Seattle Hempfest in front of a crowd of 5000+ we have been working together.
The sound, the art and the vision for JYPSYEYE is still in motion. JYPSYEYE will be performing LIVE in 2010. Wrapping up 2009 JYPSYEYE will be doing some small experimental shows in Seattle and finishing out this years campaign with the Leon Hendrix Mysterience, a band which he has been soley and *souly* active in since 2004. Its time for JYPSYEYE to emerge from the Mysterience and reconnect with the JYPSYEYE vision. There is room to make all kinds of music, so JYPSYEYE returns to the studio and soon the stage. The guitar I played on JYPSYEYE - "Why'd You Lie" in 2000, it's also the guitar I lent Leon Hendrix on the tour we did with Buddy Miles.
The guitar I played the solo on "FLIGHT 93" in 2005 for Leon Hendrix on the "Keeper Of The Flame" Album.
The guitar I played on JYPSYEYE - "Tears To God" in 1996 with Eddie Kramer.
Yngwie Malmsteen will release a new album called "High Impact" on December 8 (one day earlier internationally). The set is described as "a mind-boggling, high-paced instrumental compilation record" featuring a "surprise" bonus track — Yngwie's never-before-released interpretation of the MICHAEL JACKSON mega-hit classic "Beat It", which contains Malmsteen's own magical touch and Tim Ripper Owens on Vocals...

The next time anyone feels like GOD can't use them, just remember... Noah was a drunk Abraham was too old Isaac was a daydreamer Jacob was a liar Leah was ugly Joseph was abused Moses had a stuttering problem Gideon was afraid Samson was a womanizer Rahab was a prostitute Jeremiah and Timothy were too young David had an affair and was a murderer Elijah was suicidal Isaiah preached naked Jonah ran from God Naomi was a widow Job went bankrupt Peter denied Christ The Disciples fell asleep while praying Martha worried about everything The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once Zaccheus was too small Paul was too religious Timothy had an ulcer. AND Lazarus was dead!
Now! No more excuses! God can use you to your full potential.
Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.
