The ongoing story of K[nine].
K[nine] started as a two man band in 2001. Espen an Magnus made their first demo the following year. "My Demise" featured guest vocalist Leo Morracchioli from Lowdown. In the spring of 2003, Jonas Hovland joined the band as lead singer, and Jan Arvid Grimsrud on the bass.
After this K[nine] found a new style to best use their skills. After starting their second demo the following fall, Ole joined. Bringing a more technical sound. Arvid joined the band January of 2005, bringing a tight agressive edge to the vocal aspect. Later on Jan Arvid decided to take a hiatus because of his education, and the band brought in Ørjan Olsen to play the bass.
Considering that three new members joined the band after starting their second demo/record, the band decided to start over.
The second demo/record, titled "Unleash the Power", was released in january 2006.
K(nine) also hooked up with Sølve Friestad (SCOOP management) to be their manager.
During 2006, the band have been playing and promoting Unleash the power across Norway.
Later on this year, the band parted ways with their bass player Ørjan Olsen, and Jan Arvid stepped back in to join k(nine) again.
In the late 2006, The band started working on new material for a new record/EP. The release of the EP was December 2007.
In May 2008 we signed with Rusty Cage Records. They will help get the EP out in europe and USA.
The style of music can be defined as a hybrid between Nu Metal, Metal & Hardcore.
K[nine] puts a lot of work in to their live shows, after all, the best way to experience music is LIVE. BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE AT ALL TIMES!!!

Så at Ken Ove hadde forvilla seg inn på min Blog, og tenkte jeg bare skulle svare. Han har sikkert egen MySpace, men tar det bare her. :) For det første var det hyggelig med kommentar. Er ikke så altfor mange som tar seg tid til det, så det var hyggelig. For det andre så var det bare hyggelig med ordene jeg skrev. Jeg mente det. ;)
