Hard, fast and powerful. That's how the band members of Norway's K [nine] like their music and that's the path they have set to follow. On that path, they don't fear combining contrasting extremes. In fact, that's what they are fascinated by and try to achieve. Power and melody. Aggressive riffs and catchy hooks. In other words: no matter how you like your Metal, you will find it in K [nine].
The band started when five Norwegian musicians from various bands began jamming. In 2001, the members realized the potential of the band and decided to put all their other bands to rest in order to fully focus on K [nine]. A wise decision, so it seems, as their debut release "Unleash The Power' (2006) and the new album, "Dead World's Poetry', have already received rave reviews in their home country.
K [nine]'s music shows that they have been influenced by the likes of Machine Head, KoRn, Hatebreed, Pantera, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira and Slipknot. The result is an irresistible blend of forceful Hardcore, catchy Metal and groovy rhythms, which is as solid on stage as it is on "Dead World's Poetry', as they have already proven in many renowned venues all throughout Norway.
With "Dead World's Poetry', K [nine] is ready to kick the world's ass. And why wouldn't they be? They have an excellent and diverse pack of songs to do it with!
