..Kalulu Solar, macht eine Melange aus Reggae Rap Ska Folk Gypsy Musik, die eine gewisse melancholische Off Beat Fröhlichkeit verbreitet. Die Songs des „Hasen der Sonne“ handeln vom Wahn der Globalisierung, von Hoffnung und Verzweiflung, Angst vor der Welt und natürlich von der Liebe. Sie sind in witzigen Metaphern gereimt. Kalulu Solar ist ein Haufen von Desperados, die sich nicht scheuen, ihre Sehnsüchte einer besseren Welt in Lieder zu verpacken, und sie dem Publikum um die Ohren zu hauen, mal ekstatisch wild, mal tiefsinnig und ruhiger. Das bewiesen sie bisher bei zahlreichen Auftritten in und um Hamburg. Kalulu Solar besteht aus sechs Musikern. Gitarren, Bass, Gesänge, Schlagzeug, Trompete, Percussion und Laptop.

Hey people. I didnt just want to laze around in my Goa time. So i put this little video clip of a project song together. it doesnt really has a story, but i really liked this small balcony i shared with two friends at the beach road in arambol, so i wanted to put it in a clip. i met a young german film maker, and she wanted to give me a hand on the camera. so we had breakfast together and strolled around the scenery, while she filmed me. So, hope you enjoy this little movie!!

Hey, here is the new video clip from my off beat time in Goa this time. I might make another directors cut soon, to please my friendly camera man and use all the other funny footage we captured. So this is what we have now.

for who i am, that i allow myself to take that break from a million shifts of work

shifting my shape to all kinds of existence

the man, the earth, the frog the bird, the tree and all branches of humanity,

i study and steady...you many trees - many branches - many stars outhere in the night

you might not know, cause the city shines so bright, ignorant and decadent

makes us believe we are the crown of evolution in our evil motion, evil notion to enslave nature

no more stars to see in our atomic neon city scope - no hope

you want to know your horoscope, than cope with the hour that is here

break through your fears - im standing here, in front of you

thanx for being helpful to see me, to feel me - through you,

the astonishment we hold for each other - together,

yeah, people, idealists and dreamers - lets gather,

we either make it or we break it

i see that i fill my reasons to be, with something that is true to the bone,

i get high with my mind, which is patience in its latest reincarnation

as i taste the essence, cause i see - for tomorrow might not be

cos people dont love and dont believe in unity

as our ego is feed with your ideas of war, fascism, racism and unemployment agencies

the waters get tainted with a lack of respect and an overdose of washing powder,

cause sinisters need to keep their shirts clean

i connect my sisters and brothers and ancestors from my ancient star,

who bring me very far - out - and i shout, as i keep silent as well

to escape the hell of cars driving nowhere and factories producing nonsense,

games and items to masturbate with industry

do we...have the aim to destroy what feeds us

do we...see that renovation of consciousness shall be,

for one breath we share or that smoky air - i dont like it

for i am a none believer of consumerism - stand the cheap temptation

but a tempting devil i am myself - a spark of god

i break my ego and connect with my dark side, i know it, it is there -

a junky, a jumpy - jumping back into the womb, the tomb of my deepest meditation

existence without seperation, long time investigation

for my family i wanna see in each and everyone i can love, some with passion

most of them with compassion - as the gods they do play with, trick me, test me, fool me...

for at last i dont run away from the truth that is within me...

with that i traveled into buddhas sutras

jesus cross was made of our fear to be naked, transcend the body with the holy spirit,

grow wings and leave your body behind...tonight you are all mine - as i am all yours

as our soul glows - we like that connection, as much as we are scared of it,

cause it gives us our own power back, no back where we can hide behind

why hide, if we have nothing to hide...we will be naked

we will either break it or make it
