Kaliko draws his influence from the Ohana, as he adds to Kämau that sweet Ma'i'i sound.... ...ADAM ZASLOW While he is a cousin of Kamana on the "Pocho" side of things. Adam is a lineal descendant of Zatimustio Zaslovski, a Kolyosnaya Lira (russian lira) player for the Tzar of Russia before the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. Adam "ZULU" Zaslow, builds on his family traditions of music while bringing his conga flavor to every woman's favorite drink, the "white russian.".... KAMANA BEAMER...Hailing from Kaua'i, Kamana is a member of the renowned Beamer family and is the son of Kapono Beamer. It is difficult to talk about Hawaiian music without mentioning the Beamers. Kamana stands proudly behind his family legacy, while striving to create a sound that is uniquely his own. Kamana is essential to Kämau with his thought-provoking lyrics and his truly original songs. Kamana takes much of the vocal leads and plays guitar in slack key tunings as well as "standard" tuning, while combining many rhythmic influences.
