Kaothic was founded in Madrid, in the beginning of 2001, by Alberto Marín, usual AVULSED‘s (www.avulsed.com) session guitar player, and also official member of SKUNK D.F (www.skunkdf.com). The band started as a Death Metal formation, with brutal death vocalist David Cuñado, Marcos de la Calle on Drums and Gustavo Romero on Bass.
In April 2002 the band entered the studio to record their fist self-produced CD. The album was engineered and produced by BIGSIMON (Mago de Oz, Saratoga, Ebony Ark), definitely one of the most outstanding Spanish producers ever. The band evolved a lot during that time, and their musical direction changed, which led to the replacement of David Cuñado with David Curtonates.
In February ‘04, Kaothic got in the studio again with BIGSIMON and finished the album at M20 Studios in Madrid. “Order to Chaos” was released in Spain January the 10th 2005 by the record label Avispa.
In December '05 they recorded the cover "Sweet Lobotomy" for the new album of AVULSED, "Reanimations", which was released worldwide in March '06.
In late May '06, David left the band, just a week before entering the studio again to start recording their second album. After two months of rehearsals with candidate singers, Ciro Sánchez became Kaothic's new front-man.
2007 was a great year for the band. They had the honor to be the guest band of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE on their Spanish shows and later they played as the support band of DESTRUCTION in Barcelona. In November they entered the studio again, this time with Carlos Paralle “Flaco” to record the first demos of their next album.
In January 2008 Marcos leaves the band, and is replaced by Edu Brenes, also drummer of SkunkDF. On the same dates, the record contract signed with Avispa expires, leaving the band free to choose a record label to release a second CD.
In March 2008 Kaothic began their first European tour over Austria, Germany and Spain, together with the great Austrian act THIRDMOON. They expect to return to Austria in October.
