Mostly authors from the 18th & 19th century because they truly understood what it meant to be a Christian and every book they wrote was well-thought out, passionate, written beautifully, and conveyed the Greatness of God.

About me: My name is Karla. I've never kissed a guy, drank alcohol, or smoked anything, I'm a virgin by the grace of God. And I believe in saving your kiss and self for your wedding day. I'm half Nicaraguan, a quarter Peruivan, and a quarter Mexician and I love my heritage. I actually lived in Nicaragua for a few weeks, me and my sister and brother were suppose to stay longer but we were deported because civil war broke out while we were there. I'm really weird and random. I've been singing since I could talk (which is probably at the age of 5 because at 7 I couldn't even read) and I sing all the time but not as much as my sister Tina Kachina (anybody from SBC or EG knows what I'm talking about). I like having intellectual conversations about culture, arts, history, books, etc. But I also like talking about krazy chunty ghetto random stuff. I like to read and I'm always reading 6 books at a time. I was born in San Fran and raised in the East Bay then moved to the desert. I have some of the koolest friends in the world. They all can sang and have bad eye sight (seriously God has given me talented friends and we all wear glass or contacts it's so krazy). My family has worked in the ministry and has been helping out troubled teens since I was born. I lived with ex-con men, drug addicts, gangsters, vampires, homosexuals, satanists, and have krazy stories about them that you would probably think I'm lying because they are soooo outrageous they make movies and reality tv seem real. I love ministering to other people about God's love and faithfulness. I have seen alot of things in my life that many would not understand. I'm grateful for what God has done in my life and would not trade it for anything in this world. I hope that when I die I would have made some difference in our world for God.
Who I'd like to meet: Mia Hamm, David Beckham and the Brazilian soccer team that's just to fill my soccer twitch. For the serious side of things Gene Edwards, C.S. Lewis (but he's dead so I guess I have to wait till heaven), Condoleezza Rice (that's one bad mamma jamma right there) kings, presidents, political leaders anyone who has influence because in the world we live in today we have to change it.

God is not the only one with the power to bless. You too,can biuld others up by showing them special favor,which is what blessing really is. One way is through the girft of encouragement. Paul expressed his desire to share the valuable gift with other believers who lived in Rome.He'd never met them, and neitherhad any of the other apostles.But that didn't stop Paul from longing to comfort and strengthen others who shared his faith in God. Paul's words are parctical axamples of God's love at work. Love cannot exist in vacuum. You have to share it. When you encourage others by your lovong example, actions, words, or prayers, you'll discover that your gift comes with a bonus. You will, in turn, be encouraged. In the Greek lenguage, "to encourage" menas both "to share your strength with others" as well as "to be mutually comforted." The more you take the opportunity to cheer on and support those around you, the more you'll experiencenthe the joy that love can bring. God has used Paul's words and the example of his life to strengthen and inspire people for more than two thousand years. You never know when a simple word of encouragement to a friend or even a stranger will cause a ripple effect that will be felt throughout eternity. Put the principle behind Paul's words to the test today. God can turn your simple gift of encouragement into a tremendous blessing.
Be encouraged, and act on what you've learned. Strengthen others by sharing how much they mean to you and to God.

Hey Karla, Thought Id say hi... I was thinking about you for a sec. I remember that the first sunday when I went to Teen Reach you were the first person to really say anything to me and sit by me in church... It was so long ago its wierd to think about now... I want to bring my kids down there for a weekend or so here soon and so I wanted to see whhen would be the best time or whats going on with everyone down there...
